Matthew Maynard, 24, of Penlan, Swansea, South Wales, was jailed for 16 weeks on Friday for breaching the conditions of a month suspended sentence for handling stolen goods. Maynard appeared at Swansea Crown Court after his arrest at a city barber’s shop, where he was getting a haircut, on Wednesday. His stunt with a home-made mug-shot had attracted nationwide publicity after it appeared in the Swansea Evening Post earlier this month.
The newspaper had originally carried an official mug-shot of him on its front page, along with seven others, as part of a police campaign calling on the public to help track down wanted criminals. But Maynard phoned the newspaper, claiming he was unhappy with his mug-shot, and sent them in one of his own instead. A week after it appeared on the front page again, he was arrested in Swansea.
Andrew Evans, defending, told the court that Maynard now regretted the way he had handled things.

But Williams was soon striding out of defence and allowing Jay Dasilva to send over a cross which Nakhi Wells should have planted inside the post and not wide from six yards.
Swansea had struggled to get Liverpool loanee Rhian Brewster, five goals in seven games since lockdown, into the contest but they slowly began to get on top. Brewster also volleyed wide as Ayew attempted an overhead kick in front of him but Swansea went ahead seconds before the break. Bristol City knew their campaign was on the line and started the second period strongly, with Wells twice heading over.

UK News Published: Aug 24, Health chiefs believe dating apps like Tinder are the reason behind an increase in the STIs. Doctors believe the reason behind the steep rise could be an increase in people using online dating apps like Tinder and Bumble to meet up for unprotected sex, then deleting their partners profiles afterwards, preventing them from warning them if they are diagnosed with an infection later on.
Symptoms for syphilis can include small painless sores or ulcers, blotchy red rashes, small skin growths or white patches in the mouth. The health board, in South Wales, are urging people to contact sexual health clinic if they have had unprotected sex in recent months.
